Thank you for choosing my little book. This story is such fun, plus children can learn at the same time.

It begins with the Wordmeister, (that’ me) also known as the Countess of Words who brought the story to life. I loved it so much that I jumped right in the pages with everyone and became a character in the story.

The Countess, (still me,) is deeply passionate about writing. I genuinely love words and want to encourage young children to find vocabulary fun. It gives you new word choices for your stories and communication. Anything that might not be understood is highlighted in yellow and explained on the bottom of the adjoining page. The words are easy to find this way. I hope you like it too and stretch your vocabulary with all of us at the LAND of ODD.

After I’m introduced, you’ll meet a cute little gal with a lot of names and freckles – Petunia, Priscilla, Penelope Dodd. LAND of ODD is very peculiar but a wonderful place to visit. And this is such a good time you arrived so you can join Petunia, Priscilla, Penelope, Doodles the Poodle and me on our trip to the Zoodle.

The name Zoodle sort of suggests that nothing inside will be ordinary. Be ready to be surprised by the unusual animals and the predicament they are in. But it’s almost lunchtime and we certainly don’t want to miss this. I’ll give you a hint. The Noodles are magic, but they have gone berserk! For some reason they are multiplying faster than lightning – oh, what a mess! Hurry, come along and see!

At the end of the story, you’ll find the lyrics to a little ditty to sing along with us. The music is online to teach you the tune and help you sing along. Toodles!
