From a young age
The words poured out of me
Like a river
Overflowing and running through my mind

Writing my songs and poems
For those who believed
That a little girl like me
Had more hidden in her mind than silly dreams

Before I had ever been taught
How to write
The rhyme schemes were flowing through my veins
The words were all I knew

And now I hope that to all I can give
Something to learn from and feed your hungry souls
