Prayers for Ebony
Ebony never had the privilege of being a child.
Raised in the concrete trenches of California's toughest blocks, she grows up learning that the world don't love Black girls the way God does. Her mama's battles, the hood's silence, and a community too scared to speak truth leave Ebony fighting battles nobody trained her for.
When Ebony becomes trapped under the control of a dangerous man the streets both fear and protect, her life turns into a storm of manipulation, pain, and survival. Judgment replaces love. Rumors drown out her truth. Safe spaces turn into traps. And every time she tries to run, another wolf disguised as a savior steps in her way.
But Ebony carries something the hood cannot steal.
