"Landscapes and Interesting Places, Some of My Favorites Through the Years," brings together 108 photos of beautiful and unique spots in the western United States and other parts of the country. You'll find images of slot canyons, wild rivers, waterfalls, rainforests, and glacier-carved valleys. The collection also includes photos of ancient Indian ruins, mountain meadows, desert blooms, ghost towns, geologic wonders, and striking natural art. Each photo comes with a short, often little-known fact about the place. Alongside each image, you'll find a quote about nature, photography, or inspiration from well-known naturalists, philosophers, and others. The photos were taken in 22 national parks, other protected areas, and many remote places you may not have heard of.
