The theme of this book is that togetherness is happiness! I loved the way that this book featured positive reinforcement in a fun way. It highlighted Halloween parties, and trick-or-treating, and demonstrated that's it's a fun night for everyone to be together. It's a perfect reading level for young children, and the repetition is good practice for their reading skills. I highly recommend this book!

Halloween at Luke's is the story of two bears preparing for Halloween festivities. As they decorate, they hear a "knock-knock" at the door. It's a friend who wants to join them. Soon another friend knocks. And then another. before long, the house is filled with neighborhood revelers.
Halloween at Luke's is a cute story to share with little ones. The illustrations are vibrant and the images are not too scary. After reading the story, children can plan their own festivities and experience the joy of celebrating with others. Recommended for children ages 3-7.
