Decency is the ethereal Good of every metaphysical pursuit. It’s the profundity of insight as well as meaning for our existence. Man uses decency in a quest for joy. This search is done with the poetry of courage, the wonder of play, and the ecstasy of love. The value of this enrichment is inestimable and transcends ideologies, dogmas, and philosophies.
Although decency is intrinsic to the understanding of people, ideas, quests, and aspirations, its worth is ironically questioned, and its value remains uncertain. The book is an effort to overcome this hesitancy. It attempts to validate the proposition that the risk of seeking the ambiguity of The Good to find joy is a valuable pursuit.
I’ve attempted this by satirizing indecency with five fairytales in conjunction with an attached commentary for each one. These five parings deal with the primal forces of 1. Cinderella / Family Values / Change, 2. Goldilocks / Capitalism / Chance, 3. Snow White / Democracy / The Mob, 4. Jack and the Bean Stalk / True Belief / myth + Imagination, and 5. Three Billy Goats / Choice / Power. All five of these understanding models are looked at under the umbrella of Unmitigated Attraction.
