J. Sully spent most of his early years in Ecuador, where the majority of his family still lives. In 1990, J.Sully made the journey from Ecuador to the US. J. Sully’s parents are of mixed heritage – his mother is Ecuadorian, and his father is Irish-American. Despite a rocky start, Sully’s life took a positive turn as he accumulated valuable life lessons and successfully reestablished himself. Upon joining the United States Marine Corps, he flourished and fulfilled his duty with honor. Eventually, he pursued a career as a Law Enforcement Officer and also worked as a professional mercenary. Sully has experience working for both private companies and government agencies, providing high-level security in some of the world’s most perilous locations. Throughout his tenure in Law enforcement, he completed his undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice and obtained his degree in Nevada.

Sully, a proud father of four children, finds immense joy and fulfillment in their presence as they provide him with the nourishment for a meaningful life. Additionally, he has been happily married to his incredible wife for nearly three decades. This marks his debut book, where he focuses on a specific phase of his life that still resonates with present-day experiences.

Initially, Sully began writing as a therapeutic exercise at the suggestion of his therapist but soon realized that his life experiences held a captivating narrative. He believed that the story had the power to connect with readers on a deep level, providing them with a sense of support and reminding them that they are never alone.
